During lockdown Aaron Hunwick and me were interested in experimenting, so we created a few little 3D doge gifs consisting of little doges attempting to reach the moon with different transport methods. Aaron did the modelling and rendering and comp and I did art direction and animation.

We also collaborated with pplpleasr creating a collection that dropped on Solana. The cities and characters have all been designed and created in 3D. Red moon city of Soland has recently seen an influx of extraterrestrial apes - but not to worry - these are friendly creatures.

Green moon city inhabitants of Soland enjoy a special wildlife view of Wilfred the whale from the cockpit of a duck-built aeroplane.

Blue Moon City lies on the outskirts of Soland but boasts a beautiful sand beach to relax. A great haven for importing and exporting solanas.

Dashing through the snow, in a duck-speed UFO, Solana here we go, And recipes we grow, Bells on duckies ring, making wallets bright, fun it is - collect and sing, a trading song tonight, oh! Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way, oh what fun it is to ride, in an aping Santa sleigh, hey!

Mighty knighty duck Michael the glorious flighter is patrolling the duck universe on his wobbly horse. Have you spotted any crimes in the duckhood? Don't worry - Michael will bounce to your rescue.

Professor Ape Cyborg: A laboratory experiment gone wrong has resulted in Cyborg clones with uncontrollable rages. They aim to take over the cities in their hunt for microchips and organic material to multiply. Who can stop them?

The Duck Zeppelin, or Deppelin, was a much more efficient transport method in the Soluniverse. Several ducks were loaded at once and off it went high in the sky above the clouds. The ducks loved the feeling of flying.

Princess Gwendolin was prancing proudly along her palace. She was of course wearing her expensive moony moonbrella that sparkled in the night. In case someone ever tried to steal it she was trained in Defensive Duck Arts and knew how to swing an umbrella like a weapon.

A golden bullduck was an exciting surprise for anyone who got one delivered. Little bullducks were generally happy creatures - attaching themselves loyally to whoever opened the egg first. However, it could happen that the bullduck was in an angry mood and then you should not stand too close to the egg in it's psionic state.

The Discoduck festival happened once a year during red moon and as always, the Donutter was attending as a VIP guest. He had upgraded his DonutDJset to the best equipment, spitting delicious soundwaves to nourish his audience's ears. The sound of sweet donut delight.

The great Doctor Derby McDuck was friends with plenty of whales on the shores of the Solana cities. He repaired their fins when they had any injuries and added boosters whenever a whale wanted to swim faster. There was a big whale race coming up so the doctor and his friend Winston the whale had teamed up to create Rocketwhale.

Meanwhile a group of apengineers had been hard at work developing Tornadoscope, a binoculary aircraft that had the power to shoot tornadoes. They were hoping to create huge winds of change blowing across the cities, allowing them to spy on the Discoduck festival to discover the new delicious soundwaves.
